Pastoral Care & Coaching — The Friend Lane

A different kind
of care.

'Friend' is a deliberate word. This isn't a clinical transaction — it's a pastoral relationship for people who need someone to actually journey with them. Counseling, coaching, and marital care offered with deep listening, reflective questioning, and the formation of both a counselor and a pastor.

My approach

I work from a formation-first conviction: that people become whole not primarily through insight alone, but through practices, story, community, and truthful encounter with God. I pay attention to the body as well as the mind, to the narrative arc of a life as well as the presenting problem.

My training draws on narrative therapy, somatic awareness, Gestalt, and the deep well of the Christian contemplative tradition. I don't flatten those into a system. I bring them into the room and let them serve the person in front of me.
