Pastoral Care & Coaching — The Friend Lane
'Friend' is a deliberate word. This isn't a clinical transaction — it's a pastoral relationship for people who need someone to actually journey with them. Counseling, coaching, and marital care offered with deep listening, reflective questioning, and the formation of both a counselor and a pastor.
People of faith navigating loss, transition, or disorientation
Youth, adults, and couples in intentional growth seasons
Those who feel the gap between their theology and their actual inner life
Individuals working through grief, identity, and relational rupture
Pre- and post-marital couples seeking pastoral accompaniment
Pastors and ministry leaders who need someone in their corner
I work from a formation-first conviction: that people become whole not primarily through insight alone, but through practices, story, community, and truthful encounter with God. I pay attention to the body as well as the mind, to the narrative arc of a life as well as the presenting problem.
My training draws on narrative therapy, somatic awareness, Gestalt, and the deep well of the Christian contemplative tradition. I don't flatten those into a system. I bring them into the room and let them serve the person in front of me.
